5/26/18 Day 307 AT Day 67:   Paul Wolfe Shelter to Waynesboro

Miles: 7.7 Steps: 25,895 Elevation Gain: 1,097 Wow, what an amazing day!!!! Woke up super early today because: town was only 5 miles away! The terrain was pretty easy but I was sweating profusely; it was gonna be a hot one! I arrived at the Road into Waynesboro at 7:30am, three minutes later and a nice guy in a brand new truck picks me up. 20 minutes later I’m eating a tasty breakfast in town. Not bad accomplishments before 8am! The hostel I had a package sent to is right across the street. I meet Stanimal, a really cool hostel owner and he shows me around his clean and awesome hostel. He’s a former thru Hiker and an all around great guy! He offered a free stay if I mowed the hostel lawn and the lawn at his house. Done! It was pretty fun to mow a lawn, it’s been a while! I ordered a full big protection outfit: several pairs of socks, a long sleeve shirt and long pants. I picked up my package and tried it on. The shirt definitely is a bit big, but it’ll do. I’m excited to have less worries about ticks in my life! Great day at the hostel. Ate so much Little Caesar’s Pizza and rainbow Sherbert! Too much! Met cool people, had good times. All in a day out here on the trail!
